End of Bins

Well folks, Discovery Wines is having their End of Bins Sale and things are going fast! In preparation for our fall/winter containers, we cleaned our warehouse and a found a few gems that are in short supply. This is a great way for you to grab some excellent wines that have just the right amount of age to them a discount price you just can’t beat! This Saturday, we will have a few of those wines open for tasting so you can get a first-hand experience on what you would like to buy.

Our first white wine is Tariquet Côte de Gascogne Classic 2013. This wine is a Gascogny blend and a good, inexpensive wine that is great for large gatherings. This is definitely a go-to wine when you want something of quality your guests can sip on, but you don’t want to go too much out of pocket.

Next, we have the Auntsfield Sauvignon Blanc "South Oaks” 2010, everyone knows about the great tasting flagship Sauvignon Blanc, well think of this one as its big sister. This wine has been oak barrelled. For those who like the creaminess and round taste that the oak provides, try this and note how it changes the taste of Sauvignon Blanc from those grassy notes, with which we are all familiar, to something quite different on your palate.

For our first red selection, the Landmark 2009 Pinot Noir is an elegant Californian Pinot that just caresses the palate. I can definitely say that this is a wine certainly where you will get your bang for your buck!

Lastly, we have the Campuget La Sommelière Rouge 2011. This is a French wine that is different and appealing to the palate and not something most people are used to. This is a complex wine that has the smoothness of Syrah, but yet the approachability of a New World wine. You may even feel like a Sommelier drinking this!

This is just a preview of what is to come! The best thing would be to taste them for yourself and make your own opinion. Don’t come late to taste these hidden secrets we have sitting in our warehouse. Whichever you like grab it quick because we operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Already, quite a few of our selections have sold out and once they’re gone, they’re not coming back.

Look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
