'Twas the Night Before Christmas

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the Warehouse,
Not a creature was stirring not even a phylloxera louse.
The wines were uncorked and decanted with care,
Because our 2010 Bordeaux, needed some air.

Jessica was asleep, all snug in her bed,
while visions of wine pairings, danced through her head.
Patrick was at home, making cassava pie,
While Jordan made final preparations to fly.

When in the car graveyard, there arose such a clatter,
Karen ran outside to see what was the matter.
Then what to her wondering eyes should appear,
David in the van, with wine and a case of ginger beer!

Come Karen, come Jessica, Sonya, Patrick and Jordan,
I've got some new wines, they've just arrived from foreign!
Wake up Jessica, get her out of her bed,
I've got some bottles of white and a lot more of red!

So we "tasted" the wines, some new things for Discovery,
And knew that Christmas day would be a massive recovery!
David hopped on a plane and bid us adieu,
Merry Christmas to all, may your glass always be filled with DW!
