Castarède Armagnac 1978

One of the most important collections of Armagnac vintages is owned by the Castarède family; the oldest dates from 1893. Their Armagnacs have the appearance of liquid gold with touches of topaz, sienna and orange highlights. All Castarede armagnacs are well aged in oak casks. The cellars are next to the Baise river ensuring that they are always damp.

Complex aromas of dried fig, eucalyptus and blond tobacco. Rich flavors of dried fruits, prune, grape, orange bark and almond with a finish of white chocolate.
