An old school bootlegger-style moonshine from Climax, Virginia. Distilled in a traditional pot still from a blend of corn, rye and barley malt, the spirit is bottled unaged. A clean, rounded moonshine with notes of corn and sugarcane. Founder and distiller Tim Smith was featured on popular Discover Chanel TV show "Moonshiners".
Bright, sweet corn. The touch of sugar cane comes through but like the nose that sugar cane adds a different layer of sweetness that is pretty nice. The mouthfeel is thicker than expected is somewhat velvety and rich. The finish is long and leaves your mouth coated with a sweetness as the alcohol floats off into space.
