Gilet Sparkling Vouvray
100% Chenin Blanc, Which is capable of producing a wide range of styles from lusciously sweet to bone dry and sparkling to still. Indigenous to the Loire valley in France, some of the most popular sub regions include Savennières (exclusively dry), Vouvray, Montlouis, and Coteaux du Layon who's villages, Quarts de Chaume and Bonnezeaux make, when the weather permits, some of the finest dessert wines.
Nose: Upfront flavors of white peaches with hints of freshly peeled almonds and white flowers.
Pallet: Delicate and complex, sweetness balanced by a good acidity with notes of ripe grapefruit as well as intense fruity flavors reminding exotic fruits as mango. some mineral notes with a light smokiness enhance the complexity and elegance of the wine.
Finish: Long and fresh after-taste, leaving delicate tangerine flavors.
