Château Angludet 2014

Château Angludet is owned by the Sichel family, wine merchants in Bordeaux for 6 generations. They also own a share of the more famous Château Palmer. Angludet has been the Sichel family home since 1961. It is one of the oldest properties in the Médoc dating back to the 12th century.

Wine Region: Margaux, Bordeaux, France

Grape Varieties: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot

Tasting Note: The nose combines blackcurrant and redcurrant, with notes of mild spice. The palate is just as beguiling, nicely but not overly structured and perfectly balanced with extract imparting the texture, depth and elegance.

Food Pairing: Chocolate fondant
