Doorly’s Rum has been made on the island of Barbados since 1908, and was the first Rum ever to be exported from the island.
Aged in small American white oak casks for a full 12 years, Doorly’s 12 year old Barbados Rum has a complex character with a delicate aroma that can come only from time.
A marvellous blend of column still and pot still rum, this is a spirit of superb balance, with delicious estery aroma and a typically tropical bourbon cask profile. The finish brings a light oakiness and a little coconut.
Would be a perfect addition to any cocktail that calls for a darker rum, whilst there is enough complexity for enjoyable straight sipping.
