A 2015 addition to the Penderyn range of Welsh single malt whiskies! This is the Penderyn Celt, which enjoys a finishing period in peated casks, resulting in a subtle, elegant wisp of smoky peat coming through.
Briny peat, orchard fruit, vanilla, herbally spice, orange marmalade and some light biscuity notes. Briny sooty peat smoke, orchard fruit, honey, sugar cookie, citrus peel and a bit of dry malt on the palate. The finish is long finish with peat, soot, orchard fruit and honey.
