Established in the 19th century, Biondi-Santi is credited with creating the first Brunello di Montalcino. The estate's 'Tenuta Greppo' vineyard is renowned for producing wines with remarkable aging potential. The estate's vineyards, situated at elevations between 300 and 500 meters, benefit from clay-limestone soils and a northern-facing orientation, contributing to the wine's freshness and finesse. Grapes are sourced from vines aged 10 to 25 years.
