Casa Rojo 'Alexander The Great' 2016
In the most extreme area of the Denomination of Origin, Alexander is located in the Ribera del Duero Oriental, 900 meters above sea level, hit by extreme weather. The property has vineyards mainly of Tempranillo planted in glass and vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec planted on trellises, the configuration of the soil being essentially clayey clay.
Nose: Itense aromas of red fruit, with very subtle spaced touches from the oak aging.
Palate: It has a very tasty and fruity entry into the mouth, with very well integrated tannins.
Finish: A long and complex finish.
