Chateau Talbot 'Connetable de Talbot' 2016

As classic and relevant as the main wine, it is marked by a clean and well-delineated framework that opens up a long, fresh finish. This vintage is a second wine of excellent quality, and an excellent way to discover this cru without having to fork out a fortune.

Grape Varietals: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon

Wine Region: Bordeaux, France

Tasting Notes: Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, subtle brightening of the edges, black berry fruit with a smoky, herbal and spicy background, delicate hints of vanilla and precious wood, candied orange zest. Medium complexity, ripe black cherry fruit, well-integrated tannins, fresh acidity, delicate nougat.
