Le Marquis de Calon Segur 2018

Le Marquis de Calon Segur is the second wine of Chateau Calon-Ségur - a third growth which was owned by the Marquis de Ségur. Mainly made with Merlot and aged for 17 months in oak barrels (1/3 new). 

Grape Varietals: 53% Merlot and 47% Cabernet Sauvignon 

Wine Region: Medoc, Bordeaux, France 

Tasting Notes: Generous and juicy aromas of black currant with hints of leather and cedar. Deep and warm on the palate with a velvety texture, silky tannins and a vibrant acidity. Can be enjoyed in its youth.
