Baron Otard VS Cognac

Young and exuberant, the Baron Otard VS Cognac is a blend using eaux-de-vie from the first four appellations. While Grande Champagne gives a powerful structure and mineral content, Petite Champagne brings vigour, Borderies a sweet floral note and Fins Bois an abundance of orchard fruits. The minimum age in the blend is three years, with the first six months spent in new barrels to allow the wood to express all its flavor. 

Yellow amber with a slightly green undertone. On the nose, apricot, orange peel, dried apple, almond, toffee and toasted vanilla pod. The palate is full and fruity, with more ripe apricots. The medium-length finish brings just a hint of chilli spice.
