Remoissenet Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru 2015

Charmes-Chambertin is one of Gevrey-Chambertin's lesser-known grand cru sites, located on the Côte d'Or right below the famous Le Chambertin climat itself. Often referred to alongside the Mazoyères-Chambertin vineyard, Charmes-Chambertin makes some of the softer Pinot Noir wines from Gevrey-Chambertin's stretch of grand cru vineyards.

Grape Varietals: 100% Pinot Noir 

Wine Region: Charmes-Chambertin, Burgundy, France

Tasting Notes: Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, and licorice. Meaty yet refined; plush tannins. White peppery finish.

Food Pairing: Grilled lamb sausages, roasted chicken with herbs, and air-dried saucisson with black pepper.
