Shafer 'Red Shoulder Ranch' Napa Chardonnay 2022

Shafer’s single-vineyard Chardonnay is produced from small-clustered clones of grapes selected for their low yields and distinctive flavors. The vineyard is named for its Red-shouldered Hawks and other birds of prey, who play an important role in Shafer’s sustainable farming practices.

Wine Region: Carneros, Napa Valley, California

Tasting Note: Characterized by its lush, glass-filling aromas of white flowers, lemon zest, and exotic fruit. On the palate it offers a graceful balance of energy and richness, with flavors of white melon, apricot, ripe pineapple, flint, and honey.
